Kansas basketball fans around the world are celebrating the team’s return to the Final Four. Jayhawk fans are finding fun ways to show their enthusiasm.

The Kansas basketball team played in some exciting games over the past few months. Considering what was on the line, Sunday’s 85-81 overtime victory against Duke in the Elite Eight was one of the very best. The back and forth dramatic overtime thriller sends the Jayhawks to San Antonio to represent the Big 12 in the Final Four for the first time since 2012.

As a matter of fact, there were 9 lead changes in Sunday’s game, according to the official stat sheet. It felt like many more. The game was tied 5 times. Thanks to a pair of seniors, the Jayhawks tied the game at the end of regulation. All American, Big 12 Player of the Year Devonte Graham found Svi Mykhailiuk who hit the biggest three pointer in his Kansas basketball career.

Svi likes playing in Nebraska

On December 16, Svi’s big shot at the buzzer in Lincoln lifted the Jayhawks past the Cornhuskers. The team desperately needed something positive that weekend. The senior sharpshooter’s three pointer with 26 seconds left in Omaha Sunday sent the Jayhawks to overtime. Malik Newman took over from there.

Fans who follow social media enjoyed the online celebration. Players, celebrities and many more stayed up to the early hours Monday enjoying this victory. Earning a trip to the Final Four is a tremendous accomplishment. Beating Duke to end Grayson Allen’s college career also contributed to the satisfaction, according to many fans. The Jayhawks face Villanova in the national semifinal at the Alamodome Saturday night.
