The annual Late Night in the Phog is here to entertain again. Kansas City Star reports that many KU prospects will be in attendance.

The guy everyone is talking about is Zion Williamson. The 6-7 small forward weighing 230 pounds is turning heads around the country due to his athleticism and dunking skills. Also, he was named after Mount Zion in Jerusalem. Williamson currently has KU trending in his Crystal Ball but other elite programs such as Kentucky, Duke and North Carolina are in the running too. I am certain that the Jayhawks will be looking forward to seeing Zion Williamson. I am also sure that Williomson would be excited about the Late Night in the Phog.

Apart from Williamson, many other prospects will visit the Allen Fieldhouse for the Late Night. These include James Wiseman (2019), David McCormack (2018), Jalen Carey (2018) and, Chandler and Johnathon Lawson (2019 and 2021). Among these, David McCormack has already committed to KU.

Late Night is always a fun event and all those in attendance are sure to have a good time. When I visited the event in 2011, I remember Bill Self rode a motorbike into the hallowed arena. It is a memory that will stay with me for a long long time and I hope that the Jayhawk fans and the basketball prospects alike will take back beautiful memories.

Stan Unruh has already shared some of the exciting performances that will highlight the event.

Must Read: Late Night will be fun!

This year is going to be exciting. The Jayhawks have a chance to create history by winning the 14th consecutive Big12 conference title. We have some amazing players on the rooster and the team has a capable leader in Devonte Graham. Late Night in the Phog will be just the right kind of fun to kick off the new season.
