Kansas Basketball has had some interesting players in the program over the years. The Morris twins continue to get a lot of headlines.

In his 14 seasons leading Kansas basketball, Bill Self has recruited many amazing athletes and some more entertaining than others.

The Morris twins grabbed headlines almost from day one on the Kansas campus.

Do you remember the airsoft gun incident with Markieff? I was actually helping someone move in on campus during that summer of 2008.

That crazy incident is a distant memory and tame compared to the news the twins have made in the years since.

The two continue to get a lot of attention on social media. Why not, they create a lot of attention and are perfect for the NBA.

After their three seasons for Kansas Basketball, the twins were separated for a couple of NBA seasons.

They ultimately signed a packaged deal with the Phoenix Suns and lived together. It worked for a while until the Suns shipped Marcus to Detroit.

Without Marcus, Keef’s situation went downhill in Phoenix.  He demanded a  trade, threw a towel at the coach, was fined a couple of times and briefly suspended.  Despite it all he continued to play well.

The Suns traded him to Washington in February of 2016.

The twins both averaged 14 points a game during the 2016-17 season.

When Keef recently injured his ankle in game one of the NBA Eastern Conference playoffs, writer Rodger Sherman speculated Marcus subbed for his brother.

It was all in fun and always fun for fans to follow these former Jayhawks.
