Players listing Kansas

Quade Green – Kansas would love to get him, but it seems pretty unlikely. Duke and Kentucky are the heavy favorites.

Mohammed Bamba – Same as Green, although Harvard has an outside shot because of Bamba’s focus on school.

Ira Lee – Kansas is monitoring him, but he will stay out west from what we’re hearing.

Gary Trent – Don’t think Kansas is actually involved here anymore. Duke is the favorite.

Wendell Carter – Same as Trent.

Zach Brown – Not likely, given his multitude of off-court issues.

Brian Bowen – Most likely ends up at Michigan State.

Tremont Waters  Probably the only one on this list worth monitoring. Shoot-first small guard.

Charles O’Bannon Jr. – Troy Brown’s teammate, but Kansas not really involved. Hearing Texas here.

Andre Rafus – Not a Kansas level player. He’s recruiting the big schools, not the other way around.

Victor Bailey – A name to monitor if he decides to wait on schools. Good player, probably low end of the Big 12 a better fit for him.

Deng Gak – A project big man for a big school. Athletic and talented, but very raw. Kansas is watching him, but that’s about as far as it’s gone from what we’re told.

Hamidou Diallo – Kansas loves him, but he’s not going to Kansas.

Ikechukwu Obiagu – The 7’0″ center from Georgia has Kansas interest, but it hasn’t gone too far yet. Supposedly will end up at Kentucky, but if they end up with other big men then who knows.

MJ Walker – The most recent noted “offer”. Kansas watched him last week at the Unde Armour camp.
