When you think of Kansas basketball under Bill Self you typically think of teams made up of some of the most talented high school prospects in the country. However, Self has had a  few transfers that have played a major role in the Jayhawks’ success. 

The Kansas Jayhawks are no stranger to landing impact transfers under Self. Former McDonalds All-American Malik Newman became the latest transfer to choose the Jayhawks on Friday. Newman’s decision prompted us to look back at the top five transfers in the Bill Self era.
