We’re going to take a look at the Kansas basketball recruiting targets in a different way this week. In light of the NBA Draft Thursday night, we’ll look at the Top 15 picks on the Kansas draft board for 2017.

The heart of basketball recruiting season is coming up next month. So, to get you guys prepared for it, we’re going to provide you with a Draft Board of Kansas targets from the current class.

We’ll take into account needs, positions, interest, and all other variables, rather than just listing players by ranking. As of now, we really only know that Coach Bill Self and his staff are prioritizing Deandre Ayton and Trae Young. But with Kansas losing as many as five players after this year (and currentl two vacant scholarship spots), we can be sure there will be plenty of other targets to fill the voids.

We’ll continue to do this, if you guys like it, as an alternative way to look at who Kansas is recruiting. Once we get into July, we’ll also start looking at the 2018 class in this way too.
