PSA Cardinals – New York

Top Target: Brandon Randolph, 2017

One of the fast rising players this summer has been sharp-shooter Brandon Randolph. After spending much of last year out injured, Randolph has grown a few inches and is shooting himself onto the boards of the elite schools across the country. Kansas, Kentucky, and a host of others have all offered.

Randolph stands about 6’5″ and has good length and athleticism for the shooting guard position. He is an adept ballhandler that is able to get his own shot and make strong drives to the rim. But Randolph is making his name with 3-point shooting, as he’s sitting at roughly 40% from beyond the arc in EYBL play.

There’s not much indication yet just how much chance Kansas has in this one, but assistant coach Norm Roberts has a good track record when he goes into New York for recruits.

Name to Monitor: Quade Green, 2017

Green is one of the best point guards in the country and holds a Kansas offer. He’s a bit smaller than Trae Young, but is electric with the ball and a very good shooter.

Kansas, if they should start to feel that Young is out of reach at any point, might end up targeting Green harder as the summer rolls on. Currently, we’ve heard that Green is waiting for a Duke offer.
