Manu Lecomte – Baylor, (RS) Junior

The former Miami guard is eligible after sitting out the 2015-2016 season and comes to Baylor with a reputation for his outside shooting.

At Miami, Lecomte shot 42% from 3-point range in his two seasons there. He averaged 7.8 points and 2 assists per game as well.

With the loss of Lester Medford as the lead guard, Lecomte will be asked to provide scoring and shooting immediately alongside returnees Al Freeman and Ishmail Wainwright in the backcourt. With Jake Lindsey as the only other listed PG on the roster, Lecomte could see plenty of time leading the way, even though he played mostly off the ball in his sophomore season for Miami alongside Angel Rodriguez. He was the backup point guard, too, for Miami.

Regardless of how Scott Drew elects to utilize Lecomte, he’ll slot right in as a scorer and shooter in the deep Baylor backcourt.
