Kansas Jayhawks: Predicting the Big 12 Tournament

This past weekend millions of Americans filed their taxes, and the Kansas Jayhawks won the Big 12 regular season conference title.

Perry Ellis was named to the coaches’ All Big 12 First-Team, Frank Mason III earned Second-Team honors, while Kelly Oubre Jr. and Wayne Selden earned honorable-mention recognition.
Oubre also was named to the all-newcomer team.
It was a year of inevitable taxes for the people, and accolades for the Jayhawks. However, starting now, none of that matters — at least in regard to postseason success.
While the Jayhawks’ goal every year should be to win the national title, their focus first remains on this week’s Big 12 Tournament title, which begins Wednesday with the opening round at Kansas City’s Sprint Center.
We’ll break down each round beginning with the Quarterfinals, where the Jayhawks will open their play Thursday after receiving a bye.

Game 2, 8 p.m. (ESPNU)

Prediction: Texas 81, Texas Tech 59
