Recruiting: Kansas Jayhawks favorite for Isaiah Lewis

Top 75 2013 guard Isaiah Lewis is the top recruit in the state of New York in his recruiting class and recently named the Kansas Jayhawks as the leader in his recruitment. Lewis has also received offers from Georgia Tech, Memphis, and Florida in his recruitment. He was also hearing from schools such as Duke and Louisville.

Isaiah Lewis can succeed at either shooting guard or point guard, and the four-star recruit would be a top ten player in the class at either position. He had KU on top back in January, and recent named him the leader as more offers and interest poured in for the prized NY guard.

He also has interest in Memphis and their coach, and Jayhawks fans are happy to see Lewis choosing Kansas as the leader in his recruitment with interest from other high-major programs.

Arizona and North Carolina are also showing interest in Isaiah Lewis, and 247Sports and ESPN have ‘Zona has one of his offers. The 6’3″, 175 pound SG from Christ The King Regional HS is a great scorer and does a solid job of creating shots and can drive.

Rivals ranks him as the 79th best recruit in the 2013 class, while Lewis is ranked by 247Sports as the 43rd best. Kansas has been one of the most active major programs in his recruitment, and there is a solid list of programs after him. They are the leaders now, but things can change quickly with a major offer or two from a storied program. But for now, Kansas is the favorite for the four-star guard.
