			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Kansas Lady Jayhawks picked up a huge win on Sunday afternoon vs 20th-ranked Oklahoma, 81-71. Senior forward Carolyn Davis scored 24 points to go along with 10 rebounds and two blocked shots in the win.</p>
<p>Kansas improved to 16-8 and 7-6 in the Big 12 conference with the victory. Oklahoma fell to 18-7 overall and 8-5. Guard Monica Engelman added 21 points, five rebounds, three assists and three steals in the win. Senior guard Angel Goodrich posted a double-double with 17 points, 10 assists and five rebounds. Goodrich with the 10 assists moved into first place all-time for Kansas in that category with 687 altogether.</p>
<p>Oklahoma was keyed by Aaryn Ellenberg who scored 21 points, while Joanna McFarland added 16 points and 15 rebounds.</p>
<p>Kansas broke open a 5-4 game early on with six consecutive points, never looking back from that point. At halftime, the host Jayhawks held a 34-22 advantage. From there the lead rose to 19 points after an Engleman made lay-up made the score 54-35 with 11:14 remaining. Oklahoma managed to battle back, cutting the lead to nine after an made three-pointer by Ellenberg at the 6:14 mark. Kansas managed to hold off the Sooners in the end, thanks to making 11-14 free throws down the stretch.</p>
<p>Next up for the Jayhawks is a game at Texas on Wednesday. The Longhorns are 9-15 overall and 2-11 in conference.</p>
