The University of Kansas is a national brand, thanks to its blue-blood history in college basketball. With so much tradition, and such a large fanbase nationwide, every Kansas fan should know these facts about their school.

From Naismith to Sayers to Wilt to Chalmers, there’s a laundry list of historical figures in the world of Kansas Jayhawks sports. But it can sometimes be hard to keep track of everything important in Kansas sports history.

To help out, we’ve compiled a list of the top ten facts and figures you – as a diehard Jayhawk – should know.

As such, we’re going to assume that you already know quite a few things. For instance, you already know that Kansas has three NCAA Tournament Titles. You already know that Kansas is currently on a 12-year winning streak in the Big 12 conference – something unmatched by all but the great John Wooden UCLA teams. You already know the names Chamberlain, Riggins, Sayers, Lafrentz, and Pierce. We’re going to explore a few you might not know. We’ll also take a quick look at a few essential cornerstones of being a Jayhawks fan – do you know your traditions?
