In the latest release of the College Basketball AP Top 25 rankings via ESPN (below), the Kansas Jayhawks have fallen out of the Top 10 for the first time since the 2008-2009 season. The Jayhawks have kicked off the season to a 6-2 start, most recently falling to Colorado on the road after a bizarre game winning three-point shot by Buffalo Junior G Askia Booker.

Kansas’ two losses of the season come from Colorado, as well as from Villanova in their trip to the Battle 4 Atlantis Tourney in the Bahamas. Both Villanova and Colorado now reside in the Top 25, Villanova at #10 and Colorado at #21.

The Jayhawks can next be seen on Tuesday, December 10 when they visit #19 Florida Gators in Gainesville, Florida for the second of their back-to-back non-conference road games. The game can be seen at 7:00 EST on ESPN/ESPN3.
