After the first full weekend of NFL preseason games here is a look at how former Kansas Jayhawks players fared in their games.
Anthony Collins: Played for the Cincinnati Bengals in the team’s 34-10 win over Atlanta on Thursday. The offensive tackle appeared as a backup for the team.
Tanner Hawkinson: Also played for the Bengals in the win though was lost due to a serious ankle injury in the third quarter of the game. Hawkinson is out indefinitely.
Tim Briere: Was signed recently by the Atlanta Falcons. Briere didn’t play in the teams first game.
Dezmon Briscoe: Played but didn’t record any stats in the Washington Redskins 22-21 win over Tennessee.
Greg Brown: Played for the San Diego Chargers during a 31-10 loss to Seattle. Brown is vying for a roster spot as a cornerback. He made one tackle in the game.
Darrell Stuckey: Backup safety and special teams player for the Chargers, he didn’t make a tackle in the game.
Mike Rivera: Played in the New England Patriots win over Philadelphia, 31-22 but didn’t record any stats.
Aqib Talib: Made one tackle during little action vs the Eagles in the Patriots win.
Toben Operrum: Didn’t make any stats in the Kansas City Chiefs loss to New Orleans, 17-13 last Friday. Operrum is fighting for a spot as a fullback on the team.
Bradley McDougald: A bright spot for the Chiefs on the defensive side as he made five tackles in the teams loss. McDougald, is battling for a spot as an undrafted safety with the team.
Steven Johnson: Made one tackle for the Denver Broncos as a backup linebacker during their slim 10-6 win over San Francisco on Thursday night.
Chris Harris: Played but didn’t record any stats in the Bronco’s win.
Josh Williams: Made one tackle along with an assisted tackle for the Chicago Bears in a 24-17 loss to Carolina. Williams is vying for a roster spot on the defensive line.
