Here within the next week, many NFL training camps are slated to begin. Former Kansas Jayhawks great cornerback Aqib Talib, is one of 11 athletes slated to be at these camps. Talib and the New England Patriots kick off their camp on July 25th. The other ten Jayhawks are as follows:
Dezmon Briscoe will be in the Washington Redskins camp. The wide receiver played in minimal action for the Redskins last year as battled injuries throughout the season.
Greg Brown is going to be in the San Diego Chargers camp. The cornerback will look to gain a roster spot with the team in a spot of need.
Anthony Collins will play for the Cincinnati Bengals. The offensive lineman is a solid backup in the league.
Darrell Stuckey also will play for the San Diego Chargers. The safety starred as the special teams captain last season for the team.
Tobin Operrum is heading to Kansas City as an undrafted player. The former defensive lineman with Kansas, will try to make a position change and perform as a fullback.
Mike Rivera will also play for New England. The linebacker received minimal playing time last season.
Chris Harris is slated to play for Denver. The cornerback is a starter for the Broncos and an elite threat on the corner for the team.
Steven Johnson will also play for Denver. The linebacker starred for the team last season on the special teams mostly.
Bradley McDougald will travel to the Kansas City training camp. The undrafted rookie will try and gain a roster spot.
Tanner Hawkinson was the lone Jayhawks draftee last season. The offensive lineman played in all 12 games last year for Kansas and all 48 games with the team over four seasons. He will play for Cincinnati.
