McLemore, Robinson Shine in Summer League Action on Tuesday

Former Kansas shooting guard Ben McLemore in his third summer league game, showed what made him the 7th pick in the NBA Draft.

The guard led all scorers with 26 points on 8-14 shooting from the field. McLemore connected on 3-6 shots from behind the three-point line. The Raptors were led by center Jonas Valanciunas, who scored 18 points in the game.

Thomas Robinson also was in action for the Portland Trailblazers in a game vs Chicago. The power forward manhandled the Bulls defenders in showing what made the Blazers want him. Robinson, scored 12 points to go with 18 rebounds, two assists, one steal and a block. Portland was led by rookie C.J. McCollum who scored 27 points in the Bulls 80-78 overtime win. Second year guard Marcus Teague scored 25 points for the Bulls. The Bulls are now 3-0 in summer league play, while Portland faltered to 0-3 overall.

On tomorrow, the Las Vegas Summer League play begins a tournament bracket with getting seeded in a double-elimination tournament.
