Taylor Looking Good in Summer League

Former Kansas Jayhawks stand-out guard Tyshawn Taylor was among Summer League Leaders in the Orlando league when he averaged 16.8 points per contest for the Brooklyn Nets.

Playing time might be scarce for the second year guard from the Jayhawks especially after the Nets made a deal to bring in Jason Terry, and Paul Pierce to the lineup. Taylor is attempting to make a name for himself if not for the Nets but someone else.

The guard also averaged three rebounds and three assists per game. In the latest game for the Nets, Taylor totaled just 15 points, though added seven assists, three steals and three rebounds vs Houston on July 11th. Taylor also scored 10 points vs Utah, 25 in a game vs Miami and 17 against Detroit when the summer league play began on July 7th.

Former Jayhawks set to play in the Las Vegas summer league include Jeff Withey at New Orleans, Travis Releford at Denver, Elijah Johnson at LA Clippers, and Ben McLemore at Sacramento.
