Kansas Women’s Soccer: Estrada Named to High School American Team

Incoming freshman women’s soccer player Taylor Estrada was named to the Girl’s High School All-America Team by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America for the second straight season on Friday.

The incoming freshman who is expected to arrive on campus in August, was named to the team last season also. She is one of eight players to earn this honor.

Estrada is a three-time player of the year for Arkansas. This past season, she scored 20 goals and went for 24 assists while leading the Bentonville Tigers to a 16-3-1 record and the state’s class  7A title.  Estrada is a three-time all-state selection, and now a two-time national selection. She finished her high school career with 62 goals and 50 assists.

The regular season for the Jayhawks kicks off on August 23rd when they clash with Estrada’s home state team Arkansas.
