Kansas Football: Looking at the 2014 Recruits

After last month’s signing of Jacob Bragg, the Jayhawks 2014 recruiting class has grown to seven players who have made their commitments.

Bragg, arrives as the number two-center ranked nationally and 257th overall. He signed with the Jayhawks despite offers from Louisiana Tech, and Oregon State. The offensive lineman has the potential to gain even more notoriety, possibly gaining more offers from other big name programs.

Andre Maloney is a big name safety from Kansas. The player has the potential to be an all-purpose type athlete for the Jayhawks. Kansas beat out Oklahoma State, Missouri and Iowa State for Maloney.

Traevohn Wrench is rated the nation’s 33rd prospect as a running back. Wrench is coming out of Gardner, Kansas as a four-star prospect.

Joe Dineen is a three-star defensive back recruit.

Kyron Watson is also a three-star recruit as a linebacker. Watson’s commit should help the team out at this defensive position.

Apa Visinia committed as a two-star offensive lineman.

The lone signing comes from Pearce Slater, a 6-8 offensive lineman who is also a three-star recruit with great potential at the position. Slater, continues to hone his play, he could prove to be a huge steal.
