The Red Raiders broke an nine-game losing streak with a win vs TCU on Saturday, 72-63. Texas Tech’s only wins in conference have been against Iowa State, and TCU twice.
Texas Tech is led by forward Jaye Crockett, who is averaging 12 points and seven rebounds per game. Crockett leads the team in scoring and rebounding. Second on the team in scoring is freshman guard Josh Gray, who is averaging about ten points per game and three assists. Jordan Tolbert, averages nine points and three rebounds per game.
The Jayhawks are back on a roll in winning their last six games, including a win over West Virginia on Saturday. Kansas used a huge game from Ben McLemore to get an easy victory over the struggling Mountaineers. Senior center Jeff Withey nearly had a triple-double with 14 points, 10 rebounds and nine blocked shots.
