On Saturday at 7:00 p.m. central time, the Kansas Lady Jayhawks travel to Lubbock, Texas to face the Texas Tech Lady Raiders. Kansas has an 11-4 record on the year after losing their last two games in Big 12 conference play to Baylor and Oklahoma State. Texas Tech improved to 13-4 after beating Texas on Wednesday. The Red Raiders are 3-2 in conference play.
Texas Tech have lost to New Mexico, Michigan State, Iowa State and 16th-ranked Oklahoma this season.
Texas Tech is led by Casey Morris, who is averaging 12 points per contest. Christina Hyde and Kelsi Baker, both average in double figure scoring at 10 points per contest.
Kansas will look to get back on the winning track after rising in the rankings to 18. Ever since then, Kansas has dropped two straight games to Baylor and Oklahoma State on the road. Texas Tech is rising in the Big 12 standings, even more of a need for the Jayhawks to steal one tomorrow.
