Kansas Jumps Two Spots In Top 25

The Kansas Jayhawks moved up two spots thanks to Arizona and Michigan falling in games over the week. Former top-ranked Duke also lost to NC State on Saturday, yet just fell two spots to three. Louisville took over the top spot in the poll, however this could be in on the line, as the Cardinal face Connecticut on Monday night. Indiana moved up to number two in the poll, after the losses.

After Kansas at four, is Michigan who fell three spots. Syracuse comes in at six, followed by the Wildcats from Arizona who fell three spots. Gonzaga, Minnesota, and Florida round out the top 10. Ohio State moved up four spots thanks largely to their big win over Michigan, same with NC State who jumped six spots after their win. Creighton, and Butler are sitting in the middle at 12 and 13, while San Diego State is 15.

New Mexico vaulted six spots to 19, sitting right in front of the Lobos is Kansas State, Missouri, and Michigan State. The Tigers fell seven spots in the poll, as did Notre Dame who dropped three spots to 20. Oregon is new to the poll at 21, as is Virginia Commonwealth, UCLA, and Marquette. VCU is 22, UCLA has a ranking of 24, and Marquette is 25. Illinois fell in the poll to 23 after losing to Wisconsin, and Minnesota over the week.

Georgetown, Cincinnati, Wichita State, and UNLV, fell out of the rankings.

Big games over the week include: Gonzaga facing Butler on Saturday, and Syracuse vs Louisville in matchups of top 15 teams. Missouri plays Florida, Ohio State faces Michigan State, and UCLA takes on Oregon in more games featuring ranked squads.
