Kansas Basketball Roundtable: What Should Kansas Do Vs Iowa State?

On Wednesday, the Kansas Jayhawks and Iowa State Cyclones face off for both team’s conference opener. Kansas enters the game at 12-1 overall while Iowa State is 10-3. How will the Kansas Jayhawks do in their conference opener? How do they get a win?

Ricky: Kansas will need to do exactly what they have been doing since their loss to Michigan State. Jeff Withey is a spark for the Jayhawks. He had nine blocks in the game against Temple and is averaging almost five blocks per contest. They will need to force the Cyclones to make their shot and not make easy shots around the rim. If Withey gets his blocks, Kansas will win.

George: The Kansas Jayhawks need to keep playing like they have been. Dominating around the rim, and finding the explosive cutter to the rim. Iowa State has a good team, one that should be highly thought of. I bet the Cyclones once again make the NCAA tournament, so this game will be a good drawing board for the Jayhawks and how they are looking now.
