Kansas Basketball Roundtable: Is the Jayhawks Winning Streak a Sign of Things to Come?

The Kansas Jayhawks men’s basketball team has won 10 straight games after losing to the Spartans of Michigan State on a neutral court.   Kansas is making easy work of their opponents during the stretch. Is this a sign of good things to come for the Jayhawks later on in the season?

Rickey: The Jayhawks are playing extremely well at the moment. Ever since they lost to Michigan State in Atlanta, Kansas has won ten straight including a big win over Ohio State (a Final Four rematch). However, the opponents for the Jayhawks have not been as tough as they will (or should) see in conference play. Kansas should be either the first or second Big 12 team going into the conference tournament.

George: Kansas is 11-1 overall after whipping American last Saturday. Next up is a tune-up for Big 12 conference play vs a strong opponent in Temple. The Owls already defeated previously unbeaten and third-ranked Syracuse this season. This game will help us gauge just how good, Kansas is at this point. They are the best team in the Big 12 on paper heading into conference play.
