Kansas Basketball Recruiting: Florida State and Louisville Visit Andrew Wiggins

2013 small forward Andrew Wiggins received attention from the ACC and Big East earlier this month. On December 20th, the #1 ranked recruit in the 2013 class was visited by Leonard Hamilton of the Florida State Seminoles as well as the Louisville Cardinals at the City of Palms Classic.

The State Farm City of Palms Classic is a tournament held in the state of Florida.

Wiggins is a 6’7″, 190 pound small forward from Huntington, West Virginia. He currently plays for Huntington Prep.

During the City of Palms Classic, Huntington Prep played and won two games. They defeated HCYA North (Houston, Texas), 77-50, and Arlington Country Day (Jacksonville, Florida), 74-57.

Huntington Prep is a perfect 14-0 so far this season.

Currently, Wiggins has offers from seven teams. The teams that have offered at him include: Kentucky, Florida State, Kansas, North Carolina, Ohio State, Syracuse, and West Virginia.

The five-star recruit is #1 on ESPN’s Top 100 for the Class of 2013 and is ranked #1 across the board by 247Sports.
