2013 defensive tackle Poet Thomas officially visited Kansas on December 21st. Thomas’ currently has offers from eight teams.

The teams that have offered at him include: Kansas, Old Dominion, Colorado, SMU, Akron, Eastern Michigan, Florida, and Toledo.
Thomas is a 6’6″, 280 pound defensive tackle from Franklin, Michigan. He played this past season at Detroit Country Day School.
Detroit Country Day School made it into the Division 4 Michigan State Playoffs.
However, they lost to South Christian in the state championship at Ford Field.
The three-star recruit is currently ranked 16th in the state of Michigan and 62nd among defensive tackles by 247Sports.
