Tomorrow at 3:00 p.m., the ninth-ranked Kansas Jayhawks travel to face the seventh-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes in Columbus. Both teams enter the game with a 9-1 record. Ohio State is 7-0 at home this season.
Ohio State will look to avenge two losses last season to Kansas, the first in the regular season around a year ago, 78-67 and in the final four, 64-62. The Buckeyes are led by junior forward Deshaun Thomas who averages almost 21 points per game. Point guard Aaron Craft is looking forward to the rematch. The guard averages nine points, three rebounds and five assists per game. Ohio State earlier lost to Duke in a battle of top 25 teams, on Nov. 28th, 73-68.
Kansas has been impressive since nearly losing to Oregon State at home on Nov. 30th, 84-78. The Jayhawks have defeated Colorado by 36, Belmont by 29 and Richmond 28 in tuning for this contest with Ohio State. Kansas did fall to Michigan State on Nov. 13th, 67-64 in their previous battle with a top 25 team. Freshman guard Ben McLemore has been impressive during the Jayhawks early part of the season in leading the team in points with 16 per contest.
