On Wednesday, the University of Kansas announced their football schedule for 2013. The schedule includes seven home-games for the Jayhawks.
Kansas begins 2013 with a home-opener vs South Dakota on Sept. 7th. The next two weeks, more non-conference games as Kansas travels to Rice and hosts Louisiana Tech. Rice defeated Kansas earlier this season.
The Big 12 conference tilt begins on Oct. 5th after a bye week with Texas Tech coming to Lawrence. On Oct. 12th, the Jayhawks travel to face TCU who will be looking to improve in their second season of play in the Big 12. Two home games follow, with Oklahoma and Baylor both making the trip to Lawrence in successive weeks.
Kansas opens November with back to back road games, as they face Texas on Nov. 2nd and Oklahoma State the following week. Sandwiched in between another road game with Iowa State on Nov. 23rd, is a meeting with West Virginia on Nov. 16th in Lawrence. Kansas finishes the 2013 regular season with in-state rival Kansas State coming to town.
