Basketball Roundtable: Final Four Predictions

Apr 2, 2012; New Orleans, LA, USA; Kentucky Wildcats transition against the Kansas Jayhawks during the second half in the finals of the 2012 NCAA men

The Final Four has always been a tricky thing to predict.

Last year, Kentucky, Kansas, Ohio State, and Louisville. Kentucky and Kansas then faced off in New Orleans for the National Championship.

This year’s Final Four will be in Atlanta, Georgia. At this point in the season, any team could make the Final Four.

That doesn’t mean we still can’t try to predict which teams will be there at the end of the season.

George: Kentucky, North Carolina State, Arizona, and Kansas. Kentucky and Kansas always seem to find a way to get here, and both clubs have a great mixture of returning players and newcomers. Arizona and UCLA both will return to glory in the PAC-12, though the Wildcats will reign supreme in the NCAA tournament, and NC State with Leslie leading the way takes the other spot.

Ricky: Duke, Kansas, Michigan State, and Kentucky. This might be a bold prediction, but I think the National Championship will be between Michigan State and Kansas. I think the title game will be between Kansas and their State Farm Champions Classic opponent. However, the entire Final Four will be between all the teams of the State Farm Champions Classic.

Take note: The State Farm Champions Classic was in Atlanta this year. The Final Four will be in Atlanta this season.
