Kansas Women's Basketball: Southeast Missouri State Preview

The Kansas Lady Jayhawks and Southeast Missouri State meet tomorrow evening in Lawrence at 7:00 p.m. central time. Kansas is looking for another win, after defeating Idaho State on Sunday, while Southeast Missouri State hopes to go 2-1 on the year. The Redhawks defeated Wright State in their opener then fell to UMKC on Monday.

Southeast Missouri State is led by guard Allyson Bradshaw. The sophomore guard scored 18 points in the Redhawks loss on Monday. She led the squad back, only to fall in the end. Up front, the Redhawks have a bruiser to match with Lady Jayhawks leader Carolyn Davis in Courtney Schiffer. The 6-1 forward/center totaled 15 rebounds vs UMKC. Forward Ballier Roberts is another to watch for the Redhawks. She has the ability to get a double-double any game as evidenced by her performance vs Wright State. The forward pulled down 13 rebounds in the win, to go with 16 points.

Kansas will look to improve upon their 52-point scoring performance vs Idaho State on Sunday. Next up for the Lady Jayhawks after Southeast Missouri State is Wake Forest next Sunday.
