Kansas Football: Talib now a Patriot

There are six former Kansas Jayhawks in the NFL currently. Here is a rundown of the players and their action for week nine.

 

Aqib Talib: This former Kansas Jayhawks cornerback is set to return this week after serving a four-game suspension for taking a banned substance. Talib, was traded from Tampa Bay to New England during his final week of suspension. This week, New England hosts Buffalo in a key AFC-East match-up.

Anthony Collins: Collins, is an offensive tackle for the Cincinnati Bengals. He was active during the team’s loss to Denver last week, but didn’t play. Collins, and the Bengals host the New York Giants next week.

Dezmon Briscoe: Briscoe, a wide receiver for the Washington Redskins made one catch during the teams loss to Carolina last week. The Washington Redskins are on a bye this week.

Steven Johnson: Johnson, is a former linebacker for Kansas. He was picked up as an un-drafted free agent by Denver. Johnson, assisted on a tackle in the team’s victory over Cincinnati. This week, Denver travels to play Carolina.

Darrell Stuckey: Stuckey and the San Diego Chargers had a great win over Kansas City last Thursday. Stuckey made two tackles and recovered a fumble as special teams captain for the team. This week, San Diego travels to Tampa Bay.

Chris Harris: This former Kansas cornerback earned his fourth start of the season for Denver. The Broncos defeated Cincinnati last Sunday. Harris picked up six tackles, a tackle for loss and a pass break-up.
