Texas Tech and Kansas face off on Saturday, in Lubbock, Texas at 11:00 a.m. central time. Texas Tech enters the game still ranked at 22, after losing for the second straight week last Saturday vs Texas. Kansas has dropped eight straight games and are 1-8 overall.
The Red Raiders offense ranks fourth in the country for passing offense. Senior quarterback Seth Doege on the season has passed for 2,869 passing yards, and 31 touchdowns on the year. Last week, Texas slowed Doege a little bit, holding him to 329 passing yards, and two touchdowns. Still great numbers, but a little lower then what the quarterback has been putting up.
The rushing game is keyed by running back Kenny Williams, who has 575 yards. The sophomore back has four touchdowns on the year. Fellow running back Eric Stephens Jr., has rushed for 375 yards. A third tailback can also beat you on the Texas Tech roster in SaDale Foster. Foster has three touchdowns and 358 rushing yards.
Doege has two big-time targets in Eric Ward and Darrin Moore. Ward for the year, has 49 receptions for 643 yards and 10 touchdowns. Moore is more of the possession receiver. He has a total of 50 receptions for 548 yards and eight touchdowns.
