The Kansas Jayhawks travel to face in-state rival seventh-ranked Kansas State this Saturday. Here is a look at the Wildcats offense.

Collin Klein is the leader of Kansas State. The senior quarterback is listed as one of the top Heisman candidates so far on the season. He currently has 758 passing yards and five touchdowns on the season. Klein is second on the team in rushing yards, posting 289 yards and five touchdowns.

Junior running back John Hubbert is also a big part of the Wildcats success with 426 rushing yards and four touchdowns. Hubert and Klein were huge for the Wildcats in their minor upset of the Oklahoma Sooners on Sept. 22nd. Hubert rushed for 130 yards and one touchdown in the win. Klein added 79 yards on the ground and 149 through the air.

Klein doesn’t pass the ball that much, though when he does, Tramaine Thompson is his top target. Thompson currently currently has 16 receptions for 260 yards and three touchdowns.

Kansas State is ranked 14th in the nation, averaging 242 yards on the ground,  and 19th in the land scoring with 41 points per game. Kansas State dominated both Missouri State and Miami this season, before struggling a little with North Texas in week three. Then came the last game against Oklahoma. The offense gained 362 yards in the win, including 213 on the ground.
