Six former Kansas Jayhawks were in action on the NFL gridiron this past week. In addition to this six, one player was inactive though has a chance of playing this week. Here is a weekly rundown of the players:
Aqib Talib: This former Jayhawks cornerback made eight tackles and added four pass breakups for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in their 41-34 loss to the New York Giants. Talib and the Buccaneers are in action this Sunday vs Dallas.
Mike Rivera: Rivera stars on the New England Patriots special teams. He played some though didn’t record a tackle. The Patriots travel to Baltimore on Sunday.
Steven Johnson: This rookie undrafted linebacker played during Denver’s loss to Atlanta on Monday night. Johnson mainly played special teams, though didn’t record a statistic. Denver is hosting Houston on Sunday.
Darrell Stuckey: Stuckey plays safety for San Diego. He picked up two tackles on Sunday as the Chargers upended Tennessee. Next up for the Chargers is a meeting with Atlanta.
Chris Harris: Was inactive for Denver’s loss to Atlanta with an ankle injury. It is not yet known if Harris will play Sunday.
Dezmon Briscoe: Wide receiver for the Washington Redskins, Briscoe saw action on Sunday but didn’t record a statistic. Briscoe and the Redskins face Cincinnati on Sunday.

Anthony Collins: Collins plays for Cincinnati. He was active, though didn’t see any playing time on Sunday. The Bengals face Washington this upcoming Sunday.
