The biggest game in the Big 12 this week has to be without a doubt Kansas State @ Oklahoma. The Wildcats and the Sooners both enter the game with perfect records. The Wildcats might be coming into the game as the underdog, but the question is are they really the underdog or a team that should not be taken lightly?
Can the Wildcats beat the Sooners and, if they win, are they a favorite to win the Big 12?
George: Kansas State showed just how good they can be with their whipping of Miami. I like the Wildcats to battle Oklahoma, though for them to lose in the end. They will be in the hunt for third place in the conference behind West Virginia and Oklahoma, along with TCU and Texas.
Ricky: Like I said in a previous roundtable about Collin Klein, I might catch a lot of grief for my pick for this game. I think the Wildcats can beat the Sooners in Norman on Saturday. The reason I say that is because the 2012 Oklahoma team is not the same kind of team that Oklahoma has been in the past. I also think Collin Klein will mean more to Kansas State than Landry Jones will mean to Oklahoma. Both of these players are very good, but I feel like Klein will make more of an impact on Saturday.
Are the Wildcats a contender in the Big 12? I’d say so. I got Kansas State as my 2nd place team when it is all said and done. Who is my 1st place team? I believe West Virginia will win their first Big 12 Conference in their first year in the conference.
