Kansas Recruiting: Brannen Greene Sets Official Visit

Future Kansas recruit, Brannen Greene is set to visit Allen Fieldhouse along with four other basketball recruits on Oct. 12 during the Jayhawks annual Late Night in the Phog in Kansas.

Greene joins, Tyler Roberson, Aaron Gordon, Chris Jones, and Karviar Shepard as recruits in attendance. Greene has already committed to Kansas and head coach Bill Self, along with point guard Conner Frankemp. The Jayhawks are hoping to add the likes of Roberson, Gordon, Jones and Shepard in addition.

Greene is a small forward/guard from Foryse, Georgia. The 6-6 player is rated a four-star recruit from Rivals. com, and He turned down Connecticut, Florida, Florida State, Harvard, Louisville, Memphis, Ohio State, and Providence to become a Jayhawk. Greene is rated as the 40th top recruit for the class of 2013.

He is a super good shooter for his size.Greene has a wide variety of moves to get himself open and a classic jump shot for his size.  Greene can play both small forward and shooting guard positions. The guard/forward has grown to use his size for an advantage over smaller defenders.

Kansas begins the 2012-13 season on Oct. 30th vs Emporia State in Allen Fieldhouse.
