Recruiting: Kansas Basketball News

The Kansas men’s basketball team locked up a couple of in-home visit dates scheduled this week.

Tyler Roberson the 29th-ranked player for the 2013 class scheduled a date with Kansas for the fall. He also has recruiting visits lined up with SMU, and Syracuse. He is also expected to visit South Carolina unofficially. Roberson is being recruited by Alabama, Seton Hall, Rutgers, Kentucky, Florida, and Villanova. Roberson has the talent to play both forward positions.

Aaron Gordon the fifth-ranked player for the 2013 class also scheduled an in-home visit. This power forward from Archbishop Mitty High in San Jose, California has recruiting offers from Colorado, Washington, Arizona, California, Oregon, Kentucky, New Mexico, Stanford, and Kansas. Gordon has visits lined up with Washington, California, Kentucky and now Kansas.

Another recruit on the Kansas Jayhawks radar, Anthony Barber rated number nine by Rivals.com rated his official visit very highly. Barber is rated as one of the top point guard recruits for the 2013 season. In addition to Kansas, Barber is being heavily recruited by Alabama, Louisville and NC State. He has visits with Alabama and Louisville later this month.
