Doyle reminds Kansas head coach Bill Self of Tyshawn Taylor, the former Jayhawk who is now headed to the NBA. Taylor is expected to get drafted at the end of the first half of June-28 NBA Draft.

Doyle joins a Kansas backcourt full of depth. Travis Releford, Elijah Johnson, Naadir Thorpe are already in the rotation. Two freshman, Ben McLemore, and Andrew White are also joining the team. Kansas is piling on the talent in this off-season, as Self already signed Perry White, one of the top players in the country.
