Update on Jayhawks active in the MLB

There is one former Kansas Jayhawk playing in the MLB, while two continue to float back and forth between Triple A and other leagues.

Tom Gorzelanny: The only former Kansas Jayhawk in the Major leagues. Gorzelanny is 1-1 on the season in relieve duty for the Washington Nationals. He has an ERA of 5.54 and has pitched 18 innings so far this year.

Travis Metcalf: Remains in the Triple A and Double A. The former Kansas record guy in home-runs with 29 home-runs has yet to catch his niche in the MLB.

Mike Zagurski: This former Kansas left-handed pitcher is currently playing for Arizona. Zagurski on the season has appeared in five games. He has an ERA of 6.75 thus far.
