The Boston Celtics dominated Atlanta on Sunday throughout the game en route to a 101-79 victory. Former Kansas Jayhawk Paul Pierce once again lead the way for Boston, totaling 24 points, four rebounds and two blocked shots.

The former Jayhawk had a little help from Rajon Rondo, who scored 20 points and 16 assists in the game. Next up for Pierce and Boston is game five of the series on Tuesday back in Atlanta.

Mario Chalmers and Miami suffered their first loss of the series against New York, thanks in large part to Carmelo Anthony’s explosion of points. Anthony totaled 41 points in the win. Chalmers was ineffective in the loss, scoring six points, five rebounds and four assists. Game five is Tuesday.

Nick Collison and Oklahoma City set the tone for the rest of the league in their sweep of Dallas. Now the Thunder await the second round opponent, likely the LA Lakers.
