On the 2nd of May, the Kansas Jayhawks offered Chagrin Falls offensive tackle Sam Coverdale, who is a three-star recruit and one of the top 75 tackles in the country. The 2013 recruit from the state of Ohio is one of the top 50 players in the state, and he was also offered by Kentucky on the 3rd of May. Sam Coverdale is receiving more national attention and offers, and the Midlands recruit has offers from Akron, Arizona State, Boston College, Cincinnati, Harvard, Kansas, Louisville, Minnesota, N.C. State, Northwestern, Ohio, Pittsburgh, Toledo, Virginia, West Virginia, Yale, and Kentucky.
He has also received interest from Duke, Georgia Tech, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, UNC, Purdue, Vanderbilt, and Wake Forest.
The 6’7″, 280 pound tackle has ideal size and told Rivals last month that he sees a “good fit” at Northwestern after a visit to the Wildcats. Pittsburgh and Northwestern are seen as two likely landing spots for the talented tackle, and top Ohio recruit has some interest in Georgia Tech.
For Sam Coverdale, there are a multitude of options, and we’ll see how his recruitment advances. He has 17 offers and has a 247Sports rating of 83. Coverdale is one of the top 750 prospects in the country, and many teams are following him closely.
