Nebraska offers Clay Rhodes

Although Clay Rhodes committed to the Missouri Tigers, that hasn’t stopped teams from offering the top 50 offensive tackle in the 2013 recruiting class. Rhodes was recently offered by the Nebraska Cornhuskers, one of the best teams in the Big Ten conference.

Right now, Clay Rhodes has offers from Missouri (committed to the team on the 2nd of May), Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State, Minnesota, Nebraska, Oklahoma State, Purdue, and Tulsa.

Rhodes is a mauling run blocker who is 6’6″, 265 pounds and runs a 4.9 forty. He hails from Stilwell, Kansas and is the top in-state recruit. Rhodes is the 47th ranked tackle by Scout, while ESPN gives the three-star recruit a Scout Grade of 78 and ranks him as the 37th best tackle in the 2013 class.

The Missouri commit’s team won the Kansas Class 5A title (Blue Valley High), and he is one of the top 100 recruits int he Midlands. Clay Rhodes will be a solid player for the Tigers, and we’ll see if other schools try to offer him. I doubt he’ll play anywhere else, but you never know these days.
