Kansas visits Ark-Little Rock

The Kansas Jayhawks aim to get back on track after getting swept by Oklahoma this weekend. Kansas faces Arkansas-Little Rock in a non-conference series beginning today.

Arkansas-Little Rock is 22-21 on the season, battling in the Sun Belt conference. The team averages 7.6 runs per game, and are batting .292 as a team. Cameron Bentley leads the way, batting .360 with 15 doubles, four triples and 34 runs scored. Sean Bignall is amongst the nations leaders in home-runs at 16.

Kansas will be looking to get back on track before facing more Big 12 foes this upcoming weekend. The team hopes to get after Arkansas-Little Rock’s pitchers who have a 5.76 era on the year. James Stanfield continues to be the teams top batter.
