The entire starting five Kentucky Wildcats will enter the NBA draft. At least three of these were expected. This leaves the 2012-2013 college basketball season even more wide open. Anybody can win, including the Kansas Jayhawks.
Kentucky center Anthony Davis is predicted to go number one in the draft. Marcus Teague, Doron Lamb, Terrance Jones, Marcus Kidd-Gilchrist all joined Davis in leaving for the draft. The five join former Kansas player Thomas Robinson as likely top 20 picks in the NBA draft.
Just one player returns for Kentucky from the regular rotation, freshman Kyle Wiltjer. Kansas expects Jeff Withey, Elijah Johnson to return, and keep the Jayhawks noteworthy. Indiana is expected by many to be the top team next season. Cody Zeller, Christian Watford and others lead a packed roster. Louisville also is expected to be strong. Going to be an interesting season, for sure!
