Kansas Jayhawks star Travis Releford tweeted that his brother, Trevor Releford, will not transfer to Kansas. Trevor is currently the point guard on the Alabama Crimson Tide, and a writer on SB Nation’s Rock Chalk Talk reported that there was a chance that Trevor could go to Kansas.

The tweet from Travis is a harsh message that says the rumors are all made up and has 35 retweets at this moment in time.
A transfer wouldn’t have made sense for Trevor Releford anyway, because the PG would have lost a year of eligibility and would not have been able to play with his brother anyway. By the time Trevor would have been eligible to play, he would be a senior and his brother would have already graduated.
A lost year for a talented, improving 20+ PER PG isn’t ideal, and it is for the best that Trevor stays with ‘Bama. The rumors were interesting and Trevor Releford is a terrific player, but it is best that he stays were he is with the Crimson Tide.
